The Beginning

In February 1987, James Peter Rogers (JPR) and his wife Mavis started the business working from home selling the range of Allen Bradley industrial control products. After hard work, dedication and determination, they built a business that not only supplied quality electrical products to the South Australian electrical market, but also offered a level of customer service never before seen in South Australia.

In a relatively short period of time, a work force of two became a force of eleven dedicated people committed to servicing the needs of an ever-increasing number of satisfied customers.

New ownership

In April 2001, Mark Tolcher and Ty Harwood purchased the business of JPR Controls and, with the assistance of our dedicated team of professionals, are continuing to set the standard for the supply of quality products and exceptional service. Our business

JPR Controls Pty Ltd are specialists in electrical products for industrial control and automation systems. A wide range of products are offered for sale from basic push buttons and pilot lights, contactors and overloads, to sophisticated Soft Starters, Programmable Logic Controllers, Variable Speed Drives and motion control systems.

We have strived hard to established ourselves as one of South Australia's leading sellers of process control equipment and is, arguably, the most pro-active company of its type in Australia.

We are proudly South Australian owned and operated and command nothing less than providing excellence in customer service and support.

Our premises

JPR Controls occupy premises that incorporate over 400 square meters of office and 600 square meters of warehouse area.

Demonstration product is on hand to view and free product brochures that detail specifications and applications are available. One of our trained sales engineers is always available to discuss the finer details of our products.

Seminars and Training

JPR Controls offer product training for our customers located in a dedicated seminar room. This allows for undisturbed tuition on all of our products including working demonstrations of control and drive products as well as programming training of low and high level PLC's.
